A bit about us
Courchevel is a holiday retreat especially for horse and nature lovers!
Sonja is your hosts, and thrilled that you’re visiting our website and we hope to be able to welcome you to Courchevel Cottages. Coenie, our farm manager and right hand man, runs the day to day farm activities.
Courchevel is a place to relax and take in the stunning views, soak in the farm life and get to enjoy the companionship of your family or friends. As such, you will NOT find televisions in your cottage, although there is WiFi if you have to stay in touch.
A short history of Courchevel.
Courchevel, meaning Heart of the Horse, in French, was once part of the Chamonix Estate as well as the name of a Sparkling wine made in the 1990s under the Chamonix wine collection. In 2008 the Chamonix farm was divided and so Courchevel was born.
Courchevel was developed, primarily, into a horse and guest farm.
The Manor House was built first and at the time, the only cottage that existed was Courchevel. Scott and Die ou Stal cottages used to be home to our six horses.
In 2014, as new horses arrived, we needed new stables to house all the horses, and so the old stables were converted to cottages and renovation was started on all of our cottages.
Today we have six cottages for you to choose from.
