Things to do at Courchevel
Courchevel is a holiday retreat especially for horse and nature lovers!
Courchevel in Franschhoek is a place to take in the views, immerse yourself in farm and village life and enjoy the companionship of your family or friends.
Feel free to take walks and explore the farm with its beautiful panoramic views – don’t forget the camera!
While on the farm, you can take a hike, bicycle ride or have a picnic, wherever you feel comfortable as the whole farm is safe. Although, in summer you will need to keep a look out for snakes that you may come across from time to time.
Mountain Bikers may like to try the shorter routes on Courchevel or some longer rides around Franschhoek.

A swimming pool is situated between the cottages for all guests to use and is perfect for a hot summer’s day!
Feel free to visit our championship horses in the grazing camps or in the stables. Take some carrots or apples with you, they will enjoy that!
Horseback Riding Lessons / Outrides / Livery
Join us for a trail ride among the vineyards with spectacular views of the Valley. We can also include a delicious picnic hamper and wine to end off an enjoyable ride at an additional cost.
Take a one hour ride on the farm or a sunset ride with a picnic and wine at the view point on the slopes of the mountain.
One hour horseback ride – R750 per person
Bookings are essential and can be made one day in advance.
*Long pants/jeans/jodhpurs and closed shoes must be worn for horse riding
